Definition of iGPIO® Device Manager (General) Parameters:

D#: The number of a device in the iGPIO database for a given user.

Token: The number of tokens can been used by a given device. Everyday, the system will refill it to the maximum for a given service plan. For more information about token, please see Specification of device user interface and Service Comparison.

CHmax: The maximum number of channels that may be enabled for a given device.

Name: The label or name given by a user to a given device.

Update Interval: The minimum time interval (in seconds) that a given device may access (read and/or write) the iGPIO website. The number initially displayed will be the minimum setting allowed; the user is free to set a larger value, but cannot set a value smaller than the minimum initially displayed.

Mail Interval: The minimum time interval (in seconds) that the iGPIO website will send an email notification to a user for a given device. The number initially displayed will be the minimum setting allowed; the user is free to set a larger value, but cannot set a value smaller than the minimum initially displayed. Set it to 0 to disable this function.

D Mail Interval: The minimum time interval (in seconds) that a given device can send an email using the iGPIO website as a server. Note: The user may be able to configure a given device to send an email using for example another mail server (such as gmail), and this will not be dependent on the D Mail Interval parameter. The number initially displayed will be the minimum setting allowed; the user is free to set a larger value, but cannot set a value smaller than the minimum initially displayed. Set it to 0 to disable this function.

Alert Delay: This parameter is set by a user, and is in seconds. The Alert Delay plus Update Interval is equal to the number of seconds that the iGPIO service will wait before an alert email is sent to a user. For example, suppose a given device Update Interval is equal to 60 (seconds), and the Alert Delay for that device is equal to 300 (seconds). If the device has not accessed the iGPIO website for 360 seconds, this will cause an alert email to be sent to the user. Note that up to two (2) additional alert emails will be sent to the user, once per "Mail Interval". In addition, if and when a given device has accessed the iGPIO website, an email notification of this will also be sent to the user.

Alert Max: This parameter is set by a user. If it is set to 0, no alert mail will be sent to the user. The maximum value is 3, i.e., up to 3 alert mails will be sent to the user. The default value is 1.

Enable: This is a checkbox that activates a given device so that it will be able to communicate with and access the iGPIO website. If a given Enable checkbox is set, the checkbox transforms into "Active", indicating that the given device has been activated.

Open: This column allows a user to open a given (and enabled) device, so that its settings may be setup, viewed, and/or revised. A given enabled device may be opened by clicking on the Open ## link. A "N/A" string appears for any device that has not been enabled.

Refresh: Clicking on Refresh causes a download of a presently displayed Table from the iGPIO website. Use Refresh when you want to see the newest data from a Table on the iGPIO website.

Update: Clicking on Update causes an upload of a presently displayed Table to the iGPIO website. Use Update when you want to modify the value of one or more parameters in a Table on the iGPIO website.
